Aqua-Colored Flowers Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was created for my good friends Liz and Noah, who had a beautiful wedding at the Pavillion at Firewheel Golf Club on Saturday. Alternating tiers of vanilla flavored cake and red velvet cake were decorated with traditional buttercream icing and finished with an arrangement of aqua-colored flowers to match the bridal bouquet.

father's day humburger baskets

I made these mini hamburger baskets for my fiance for father's day. Each item in these baskets are made of different desserts. The humburger buns are made of butter vanilla cupcakes topped with little sesame seeds, the burger patties are brownies, and the french fries are made of sugar cookies. Each burger was topped with lettuce (green colored coconut) and ketchup (red buttercream frosting).

Assorted Pink Cakeballs

Last month, I was asked by a friend to make a large order of cakeballs for a bridal shower she was co-hosting in Austin and she was nice enough to share with me a few pictures of the dessert display. These cakeballs were made of red velvet cake mixed with cream cheese frosting and dipped and decorated in different shades of pink to match the shower invitation. Thanks Liah!
