Teacher Appreciation Flowers

This week is teacher appreciation week and I used this opportunity to squeeze in some baking while treating my daughter's school teachers to some yummy sweets. These flower bouquets are totally edible. The petals are made of Good & Plenty licorice pastels, centers are chocolate M&M’s and buds are specialty cake balls (chocolate chocolate chip and French vanilla cake flavors) covered in vanilla almond bark.

1st Birthday Daisy Cake

I made this double layer round cake for my daughter's 1st birthday party and it was decorated to match the color of her birthday invitations. The cake flavor is dark chocolate covered in buttercream icing and the coordinating cupcakes are french vanilla cake topped with buttercream icing.
